Eye Tracking
Eye tracking is the process of capturing the location and movement of the point of gaze. It allows you to track the movements of the user's eyes and note what the pupils are doing while the user is looking at a particular feature. Eye tracking technology enables you to check where users look at your site, what they pay most attention, what they ignored and what they missed.
Eye tracking can be conducted in your office or in a lab.
Benefits
- Determine what information capture users’ attention, and what users tend to ignore
- Showcase the best way to design, layout and position key page items
- Assess users’ decision-making processes
- Identify search patterns and strategies
- Measure branding impact
- Provide reliable and accurate data
How It Works
1. Analysis & Planning
- Identify client’s requirement from evaluation
- Create testing protocol
- Conduct pilot testing to determine boundaries of testing and performance
2. One-on-one Eye Tracking Session
Special monitors are used, which are designed specifically for capturing eye movements. The eye tracker is essentially invisible to the participant - there are no helmet or ‘special’ glasses required.
3. Data Analysis
On completion of the eye tracking sessions, data analysis will be conducted and a report of results summary will be provided with a concise set of findings and actionable recommendations.
